Burro Creek Wilderness area lies along nine miles of the upper reaches of Burro Creek, a perennial stream crossing through the wilderness area. Burro Creek is a rockhounder’s paradise known for the purple agate, jaspers, chert and pastelite. But the area does not easily give up these valued semi-precious stones.
This stone is a purple jasper/chert polished to a high vitreous luster and then set in a custom sterling silver setting.
