The 304 Stainless Steel used in this inlay ring is hypoallergenic, meaning the ring is non-toxic to the human body. This grade of stainless steel is commonly used in the medical industry due to its lack of toxicity.

The inlay is made from processed pieces of Australian Abalone shell. The Abalone pieces are inlay-ed into the ring channel and topped with a polymer resin. The protective polymer resin is then polished to a high transparent gloss. After polishing, the Abalone appears to be suspended in the ring channel.
